Recovery & New Surroundings.

It’s been some unknown passage of time since rescue and being in recovery from cryostasis. I’m certainly not in Kansas anymore. These UEE guys have also confiscated my ship, likely for its unknown technology. But it’s good to be alive though. In questioning, since didn’t seem to pose a security threat, I was released on my own accord.

My surroundings are all unfamiliar. But ships still fly and the backdrop of space is still a familiar surrounding. This world and it’s ways are new to me. Still somehow I eventually did manage to find a job at a nearby shipyard unloading space cargo. It get’s me by time wise. There’s plenty of work it seems, the shipyard is a busy place.

But word around the docs is, could possibly make out better running crew. Many ships frequent the shipyard, and some seem to be looking for experienced hands. I may look into that. Could be a good way to learn and get around the local system. After all this world is still all new to me.

It’s A Long Way Back & To Another Galaxy!

HeraldIt’s been a long time. A time lost journeying through that pocket in space. Lost adrift in far unknown space. So long-lost adrift he entered in Cryostasis. left journeying adrift among the great vast void of very deep outer space. To most…. seemingly lost forever among the stars.

And so it was, untold time passed lost and seemingly dead.

Project SeaWolf

I’ve been out of gaming entirely for almost two years! This is my very personal project to build my own Gaming PC Rig and get back into some gaming and other things. I’ve never built a computer before, but I thought it would be a good challenge and fun to do as a project. As well build the computer I want since it will be mostly for gaming overall.

After spending quite a bit of time researching on YouTube (few months) and on different PC forums I think it was time to at least get things started. This build will take some time! So it won’t be fast! Got some parts delivered from Amazon yesterday. Currently have about half the parts, (MSI Motherboard be here next Wednesday) minus all the Radiators and all the Water Cooling Components. Configuring the Water Cooling build will most likely be the most difficult part of the build with components and configuration.

After waiting almost 6 weeks to get the custom case so far I’ve mostly assembled the CaseLabs TH10A (Case Color: GunMetal) case which is HUGE and was a lot of fun to assemble. However In assembling it definitely gave me a huge appreciation of how well crafted in detail and assembled CaseLabs cases really are and can last a lifetime. Today have to head out to Micro Center, a little road trip to pickup the i7 6700K CPU which they have on sale for a good deal for $314 and also pick the EK CPU Water Block.

Hope this turns out to be fun, minus the hole in my pocket for one of my hobby. Parts Build List.

It’s Finally On!

Simply deciding to build myself a computer and gaming rig has taken on a whole new life of its own and hobby somewhat.

I decided I wanted a damn good quality PC and not play catch up, which I guess ended up being a high end PC.

That has taken me to looking into custom built pc, pc modding, loop water-cooling, watching so many youtube videos and reading pc modding forums like Overclock. Even deciding on what PC Case I wanted took quite a bit of time researching. It came down to two cases a CaseLabs Magnum SMA8 or a CaseLabs Magnum TH10A. CaseLabs cases are not cheap! Yeah really. But from my research they are some of the very best, very good high quality all aluminum cases for custom built pc and pc modding. These cases are good enough to last a very long time even if you overhaul your pc down the road as well.

After going back and forth between the two cases, looking at Youtube case reviews and lots of pc builds I finally decided. So finally decided and went ahead and placed an order today for the CaseLabs Magnum TH10A case. It will be a custom looped water cooled pc build. Will take a few weeks to get the custom case delivered. The build will likely take a while.
